My humble shop, Posies, is my pride and passion. With 30 years of self-taught floristry, including ten years and counting here in Chalgrove, I have always made sure to build up a great rapport with my wonderful customers. I take care to get to know each of them personally in order to always provide flower arrangements that fit to every individual’s specific tastes and requirements. Once a customer, always a customer.
Working right from the bottom has paid off to be a demanding, yet astounding accomplishment. After building up years of knowledge, I have since been able to create a shop full to the brim with the perfect selection of beautiful flowers and gifts for almost every occasion. An advantage of having learned both the traditional and modern methods of floristry has added another dimension to my expertise, allowing me the creativity to adapt to more unusual and innovative requests.
I work to your budget and quotes are free together with gift wrapping and the make-up of our bouquets, so your money goes directly into FLOWERS

The Corn Exchange Wallingford is a volunteer run entertainment venue for Wallingford and the surrounding areas. It provides drama, art, music and the latest cinema releases in a friendly, welcoming and relaxed environment.
The Grade II listed Corn Exchange building dating from 1856 is now owned by the Sinodun Players who bought the derelict building in 1975 and set about converting it into a 175 seat theatre and cinema. After an incredible amount of effort from many enthusiastic volunteers, it was officially opened by Sir Peter Hall (the then director of the National Theatre) in December 1978.
Throughout the following years several extensions and alterations to the building have been made, helping to ensure the venue continues to thrive as a successful entertainment venue enjoyed by audiences, visiting companies and all the volunteers who run the building.
The building now boasts a modern foyer, box-office and bar area, a coffee/meeting room, auditorium, two rehearsal rooms, two dressing rooms, a fully stocked wardrobe that is the envy of many small drama societies, and a full scenery workshop.

Here at Orchard Cottage Cider Company we make Hitchcox Cider in a very traditional way. We have a 1971 cloth press to extract the apple juice in our old barn on our Oxfordshire farm.
One of our main beliefs for making cider is that we never add anything artificial for flavour or taste. For sweetening we only use cane sugar, which we know makes a huge difference to the taste of our unique ciders. We make a wide range of ciders from traditional ones, using only cider apples, to some that have a blend of eating and cooking apples as well as others with fruit added, such as plums, blackcurrants, blackberries, elderberries and damsons. These fruit ciders have real fruit added to our fully fermented cider to give it that natural fruit flavour to compliment the taste of cider. Our ciders contain sulphites.
All our ciders are available as lightly sparkling or still in 10 or 20 litre bag in box and 500ml glass bottles.
