Chalgrove Festival 10k

The Chalgrove Festival 10k is now in its 10th year. The event has grown in stature each year, and is now a part of the regular Oxfordshire Road Racing scene attracting in excess of 500 runners of all abilities.

It is fully licenced by UKA and an extremely well run event; those who have run it before will know, those who have not, should really give it a go!

All runners get a technical running t-shirt. Also prizes for all Category winners, and a special prize for the first Male and Female Chalgrove residents. Must live in the village to qualify.

2019 Main Events

There are several events and shows that will take place at the Festival this year:

Helicopter Rides - these will take place on the southern side of the brook, in order to be at a safe distance from the rest of the event. For £39, you can get an unrivalled birds-eye view of the village and surrounding area. An opportunity not to be missed!

Boot Camp Challenge - Are you ready to take on the Boot Camp? With 26 metres (86ft) of inflatable fun, the Boot Camp offers a real challenge. Contestants have to negotiate their way through different obstacles, from the tyre gauntlet challenge, to swinging across the inflatable ravine - yes a swing incorporated into the inflatable! Can you get to the end of the obstacle course quicker than anyone else? Of course you can!

Jay Kumar and Dance Asia will be rocking the main arena. The renowned UK-based Bollywood Dance Choreographer will be bringing dynamic Bollywood routines in a variety of colourful and dazzling costumes - and you may get a chance to join in!

Wayne Wonder - returning to the Festival is the magical Wayne Wonder, a multi-award winning entertainer, who keeps both children and grown ups wanting more!

Wheatley Birds of Prey - once again, you have the chance to get up close to some of the most beautiful raptors in the UK.
